Signature One-to-One School

High School Graduation Requirements and Course Offerings

The course catalog lists graduation requirements by subject, and lists only the courses that are currently NCAA-approved. Signature One-to-One offers additional courses (and develops customized courses, especially electives) at levels through AP/IB, including Spanish, Latin, French, Mandarin and various electives (including arts like ceramics, music, and more), that are fully accredited academically (MSA CESS) but not yet NCAA-approved. NCAA approval is completely separate from academic accreditation. For students whose goals are to participate in college athletics, NCAA approval of their high school coursework is required. We continue to submit additional and new courses for NCAA approval as necessary.

All courses are offered at the following levels:

  • Advanced level courses offer college-level curriculum and pacing that, upon successful completion, prepare the student to sit for the College Board Advanced Placement Exam in that subject.

  • Honors level course curricula offer more rigor, depth, and faster pacing than a standard college-preparatory course, requiring students to meet higher standards of academic performance. Honors courses are appropriate for hard-working students seeking further challenge.

  • College Preparatory level is the standard for all Signature One-to-One courses to prepare students for academic success in college.
